In 1996, the Annousakeio Clinic extended its services by establishing a fully equipped Physiotherapy Center with four basic physiotherapy rooms, including electrotherapy, hydrotherapy, and a gymnasium, plus a full range of therapeutic equipment to provide physiotherapy – rehabilitation services to both in- and outpatients.
Today, it has three fully equipped physiotherapy centres in the areas of Voukolies, Paleochora and Kandanos, so that the inhabitants of mountainous and inaccessible areas far away from urban health services can access the services.
The main objective of the Physical Therapy Units of the Annousakeio Therapeutic Centre is the establishment of an organized care network where, in combination with the other Annousakeio medical services, the needs of each area will be completely covered.
A key factor in the recovery of diseases is the use of natural remedies.
For effective treatment, use is made of:
TENS, Thermal – Cold Pads, Ultraviolet – Infrared Light, Massage, Local – General Handling, Lymphatic Massage, Reflex Massage of Subcutaneous Tumor (Mouthwash), Electrotherapy (Crossborder, Dynamic, Diagnostic, Treatment of internal organs diseases).
Physiotherapy Units are able to provide comprehensive physiotherapy and rehabilitation programs for outpatients for:

- Treatment of Musculoskeletal Diseases
- Treatment of Sports Injuries
