Information for guests

  1. Solemn declerations from a relative of first degree (children, parents) or in their absence from other relatives for approval of individual’s admission. If the patient has inability to adapt himself to the new environment, after having passed the trial period of 20 days, a reassessment of his adaptability becomes and if it is necessary, the patient may be discharged by the scientific director of the Institution.
  2. The responsible relative takes the obligation to visit him regularly. During his stay in the Institution the amount of 100  Euro  for the annual blood test, as well as  for medical tests in emergencies, (complete blood count, ultrasounds, triplex, CT-MRI, etc.) which are not covered by the insurance agency. In addition, the relative undertakes the cost of nursing outside the Institution, if this is deemed necessary, in case that  the patient has been  admitted at the general hospital and needs exclusive nurse  , as well as the  funeral expenses.
  3. The relative ‘s contact with the  doctor of the institution  and her team, it is necessary on a regular basis.
  4. In case of non-cooperation of the responsible relative with the Institution, the board of the directors will be informed and by extension the legal counselor of the Foundation and the necessary measures will be taken.
  5. The current import will be done this morning hours after notification of social worker.
  6. During the admission, the patient must bring with him:
    • Clothing proper to the situation
    • Personal hygiene and care items
    • Daily use items: pajamas, nightgowns slippers. The tenants that have dentures and eyeglasses are solely responsible for them. The Institution is not responsible in case of loss.
    • Visiting hours:
    Monday to Friday: 09: 00 am – 24:00 pm ,
    Saturday and Sunday: 10. 00 a.m. to 13.00 p.m. and 16: 00 pm – 19:00 pm.

The visiting hours are specific, so that patients can  rest and recover . There should be enough time for the daily care and their participations in activities. Inside the room it should be better, more than two visitors to be present at the same time.  Individuals ’s  short stay in chambers is pursued since otherwise  the proper operation of the Institution is prevented.
Children – Guests are welcome to be accompanied by an adult throughout the visit.

  • Diet and Nutrition
    The offered meals are:
    Breakfast: 08 .00 am
    Snack: 10:00 a.m.
    Lunch: 13:00 pm
    Afternoon treat: 16:00 pm
    Dinner: 19: 00 pm
    The meal schedules are adjusted during the summer and winter period.
    The diet is categorized and varies based on patients’ diseases. The purchase of food is forbidden outside the Institution for which the Foundation does not guarantee its quality.
  • Safety rules:
    Security: The Hospital provides an environment as safe as possible for everyone. Each tenant or visitor has the personal responsibility to behave in a way that causes no physical or verbal harm to oneself or to others. If an accident occurs, the head of the ward in which the resident is hospitalized, must be immediately informed.
    Smoking: Smoking is strictly prohibited in the Institution, except the tailored smoking areas.
    Valuables: If there are money, valuables or other valuable objects , the patient must deliver them to  the responsible relative. In case of their loss, the Institution has no any responsibility.
