Social Pharmacy

The Social Pharmacy is a social intervention structure that aims to ensure therapeutic continuity by providing free pharmacy and medical supplies to people with health issues who have no direct access to the healthcare system, to people who are in poverty or threatened with this or members of vulnerable groups that require immediate assistance.

 

The documents required for inclusion in the Social Pharmacy structure is:

  • Applicant’s application
  • Photocopy of ID card or passport
  • Dependency Status.
  • A certificate of residence from the municipality
  • A copy of the last income tax return or tax return.

Beneficiaries of Social Pharmacy are uninsured or insured by the relevant Social Welfare Office (homeless, destitute, unemployed).

For the proper functioning and performance of the objectives, the Social Pharmacy accepts donations of any kind of pharmacy/medicine, even if the boxes are opened and partially used or for animal health – parapharmaceutical material. The operation would not be possible without the support of citizens through voluntary pharmacy donations.
