The Physiotherapy Centre of Palaiohora was inaugurated on 17th March 2003 and constitutes a specialised care centre for individuals that require physiotherapy. The Centre is part of the Annousakeio Therapeutic Centre and is located in the former Ecclesiastical Boarding School of the Holy Metropolis of Kisamos and Selino. The Centre was a vision of the respectable former Metropolite of Kisamos and Selino, Mr. Eirinaios, and this worthy project is being continued by the respectable Metropolite Mr. Amfilohios.

The services are provided by a specialized physiotherapist and the main objective of the Centre is the alleviation of human pain.

The kinesiotherapy room where a static exercise bicycle, parallel bars, balance stairs, quadriceps machine, mats, weights, balance balls, a wheel for strengthening the upper and lower extremities, balance platform, finger ladder to strengthen the arm and shoulder and devices to twist the wrist and elbow up and down exist
The electrotherapy room contains currents of all types, ultrasound, short-wave heating and deep-heating device, magnetic fields, tens, electric massage, laser and an elastic harness that stretches the nape.

The hydrotherapy room is equipped with a warm water pressure tub for upper and lower extremities, a bucket of warm compresses and pads, a paraffin appliance and bathtub.

The Physiotherapy Centre of Palaiohora is a modern and fully equipped rehabilitation centre that helps the suffering people who live far away from organised networks of health services.
