This Physiotherapy Centre that operates in the
municipality of
Kantanos is one more facility that is
made available by the Annousakeio Therapeutic Centre of the Holy Metropolis of
Kisamos and Selino.
Kind permission to use the building which belongs
to the
Municipality
of
Kantanos and the
financial contribution of the municipality and
Mr.Sartzetaki
led to the opening of the Physiotherapy Centre on October 1st 2007.
The Centre’s main aim is to alleviate the pain of
the Kantanos residents. It is open daily and accepts individuals of all ages,
from children to senior citizens. The Centre has a fully equipped
electrotherapy room (crossed waves with suction, ultrasound, circuit of waves,
paraffin bucket, magnetic fields, tens, and a machine for the nape and waist.
The hydrotherapy room has warm water pressure
baths for the upper and lower extremities. The Motion therapy room has a static
exercise bicycle, exercise mats, balance balls, wheel for strengthening the
upper extremities and a machine for exercising the upper and lower extremities.
