The Annousakeio Therapeutic Centre’s
plans, however, do not end here. With the same faith that drove to its
construction, the Centre continues to set feasible humanitarian objectives.
Our goals are:
For the Annousakeio Therapeutic Centre:
Fully-equipped
Annousakeio Physiotherapy Centres in order to deal with a variety of
incidents.
Equipping two
rooms within the Annousakeio Therapeutic Centre, in order to provide care
to non-resident clients, giving emphasis mainly to neurological diseases
that require physiotherapy.
For the Annousakeio's Home-Care Service Programs:
Creating and
additional team that will provide home-care services during the afternoons.
Purchase of a
second vehicle that will reach even the most difficult to reach areas.
Purchase of
equipment (wheelchairs, etc.) that will make life easier and increase the
quality of the provided services.
Community oriented goals:
Create a Day
Care Centre for the Elderly that will offer assistance and support to the
families of the elderly. Such a Centre could host the elderly during the mornings
thus providing help to their family that has undertaken their care.
Moreover, this Centre could admit the elderly persons for short-term stays
if the family is temporarily unable to care for them.
The
Annousakeio Therapeutic Centre, in collaboration with the local
government, will continue to organize courses that will inform and
sensitize the public.
